Effective June 2025 Approved Board Resolution:
- If a Department Funded Quasi-Endowed Professorship is not filled by an appointed chair, the Department in the School of Medicine may request to utilize the professorship for departmental support, subject to approval of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Dean, School of Medicine.
- Departments should submit a letter to the Dean requesting approval before doing any spending/obligating.
- An allocation will be established from the professorship; the professorship should not be charged directly.
- Retroactively allow 100% quasi-endowed professorships (total Book Value under FD012 only).
- The analyst or department can determine the 100% under FD012 by running RPT2570.
