Stat (042)
The stat code specifies the purpose and the agency related to sponsored funds. This code is required on all ledger/classes on all separately budgeted sponsored funds (ledger 2x, 3x, and 4x).
- Position 1 indicates the purpose.
- Positions 2-3 of the stat code indicate the agency providing the funds.
- Position 4 indicates the type of institutional grant on PHS funds.
